Heliopatch Inventor discusses product

Jason Avant, Chief Science Officer and the Heliopatch inventor, discusses his discovery of Human Half-Cell Technology and how Heliopatch was developed. Jason is a PhD candidate from University of Texas at Austin.

After leaving graduate school, Jason continued his research on functional and therapeutic uses for antioxidants. Jason realized that there were clear parallels between the biochemistry of antioxidants and the electrical reactions of a voltaic cell. Similar to how a sacrificial anode can protect pipes from oxidation or rusting by donating there electrons, antioxidant molecules can protect biological cells from destructive oxidation by neutralizing free radicals.
